D.C. Circuit Upholds Jury Verdict in Favor of Unconstitutionally Terminated D.C. Executive
WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 29, 2018)—In a case argued on appeal by David Codell, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit upheld a jury verdict of more than half a million dollars in favor of Jennifer Campbell, a District of Columbia executive whom the District fired in violation of Campbell’s federal due process rights. See Campbell v. D.C., 894 F.3d 281 (D.C. Cir. 2018).
