Mr. Codell’s credentials include graduating with high honors from Harvard College and Harvard Law School and clerking for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Mr. Codell previously practiced constitutional law with one of the nation’s preeminent constitutional litigators and was a partner at a large law firm in Los Angeles. He has operated his own firm since 2003; previously served as Visiting Legal Director of the Willliams Institute, a think tank at UCLA School of Law; and is currently serving as Constitutional Litigation Director for the National Center for Lesbian Rights in addition to maintaining his own practice.
